Cailtin Clark is one of the Best College Basketball players We Have Seen

March 4

Caitlin Clark did it again. On March 3rd, Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes Women’s Basketball team faced the Ohio State Buckeyes. But this game was not a normal one, it would be a game of history. With it being senior night, Carver – Hawkeye Arena was packed with 15,000 people. Heading into the game, Clark was only 18 points away from beating Pete Maravich’s scoring record. The record Clark would break was the NCAA D1 Mens and Womens Scoring Record.

With time winding down in the 2nd quarter, Hawkeyes Clark threw a stretch pass to Hannah Stuelke, who would then get fouled by Ohio State’s Cotie McMahon. With 00.3 seconds left of the quarter, Stuelke would take the line to take her 2 shots and then Clark would shoot. Stuelke made both shots and then Clark came up to the line. Heading up to the line, Clark had 16 points and needed to make both shots to break the record. On her first shot, she swooshed it, and she tied the record. Before the second shot, she tapped both of her feet, did a practice shot with no ball, and then received the ball. With all of the 15,000 people in the stadium watching and on their feet, Clark shot the ball and swooshed it once again, breaking the NCAA D1 Scoring Record just before halftime.

For how many records Caitlin Clark has broken, here is a list of all of the records Clark has.
